This spring, writing is at the heart of class as students create a scene or short play inspired by storytelling and community connection. We will be partnering with another non profit, which will help kick off writing. Using shared stories and guided exercises, improv, and discussion, students will develop character, structure, and a creative voice while building confidence and empathy. The focus is on process over product—valuing authentic expression. There will also be an opportunity for light direction and acting through this process, and students will have the opportunity for a table read of their final work.
