TS- Theatre Arts 3 (Tue/Thur)

This quarter, students will try out elements we have never combined before, sketch comedy style writing on-camera! Students will explore the foundations of film-based skit and sketch comedy, using improvisation to generate ideas, develop character, and shape dialogue. Artists will collaboratively write, rehearse, and film short, original sketches. The process centers on creating without concern for reception—writing from an authentic place and valuing internal joy and self-expression over applause—while having a blast in a judgment free and safe space.
