How to get there
In the charged world of 1950s New York, legendary artist Mark Rothko hires young painter Ken to assist him with a prestigious commission for the Four Seasons Restaurant on Park Avenue. What begins as a working relationship becomes a fierce battle over art, ambition, relevance, legacy, and truth—forcing both men to confront what it means to create, to matter, and ultimately, to be an artist.
In this intimate and immersive production, RED invites audiences not just to observe the story, but to step inside Rothko’s Bowery Street studio and become witnesses to the physical, intellectual, and emotional struggle behind the creation of some of the world’s most sought-after art.
